This shoot is only part 1 of a series of car shoots we have planned! It started to rain on us this day so we had to stop and get to a protected location. We wouldn’t have if I had an assistant to help protect the camera from the rain, that shoot will be coming soon too though! Rio just got a new classic black jag and we were so thrilled to be able to get new pictures of her and her car! Y’all might remember her old white classic jag from a previous prom post we did a while back. We had a blast and we decided that this totally replaces her senior shoot we did before she graduated. Hope y’all enjoy the pictures as much as we did taking them, and stay tuned for her upcoming shoots as well!
Ok, I know this is way overdue, and this post is going to be long with lovely pictures but, I have to say to all of my followers that I apologize I have not been keeping up with our blog posts, and saying that we have been super busy is an excuse! I will be starting the venue blog series back up this week! To get it started to anyone who is looking for something a little different and outside; to all of my Houston followers who don’t mind a small drive; and to all of my local followers who are close to this venue, feast your eyes on the beautiful Rose Emporium in Brenham!
This Venue is quiet and somewhat secluded, it is truly beautiful full of flowers and a wonderful homey charm. Butterflies inhabit these beautiful grounds along with their many other animal friends, it truly is a site and a garden worth spending time in! But don’t let me talk you into it, just look below and let the captured scenes do it for you!
Gabriela & Kristopher and a wonderful cute couple! They have a beautiful connection between each other and the love that pours out for each other is so much fun to capture. It was a glorious day to start off their engagements at the theater district and end with the warehouse district! The weather could not have been more perfect to work in!
They say it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Does it matter where in the city it rains as long as it rains? The wedding was beautiful and rain free at the Rainbow Lodge. Karen was stunning and Jason was handsome, and on this day the made a beautiful fun couple. Congrats to Karen & Jason we wish you all the best of luck! It was wonderful working with you!
We had a wonderful opportunity to go to San Juan, Puerto Rico this past January to capture Brittany & Dwayne’s wedding! It was stunning and we had a wonderful time! There was so much going on, so many emotions flying around it was so hard not to capture every little thing. We tried so hard to narrow down the pictures, so please be patient; there’s a lot of them!
I had been dying to see Brittany’s dress since she first described it to me! Of course it was even more stunning in person and she looked absolutely amazing in it. We had a little different start to her bridal session, the first few moments were spent with her father when she first came out in her dress, it was a wonderful way to start off. She was radiant, comfortable and confident.
Hello all my wonderful fans and followers!
It has been crazy the past few months! Just a quick update besides the christmas holiday we have had some crazy events happen! My dad went into the hospital, my sister married the love of her life, we went to San Juan, Puerto Rico to shoot a beautiful wedding, we celebrated our 2 yr anniversary, we shot a wedding at the Rainbow Lodge, and we have shot engagements in the Theater District!
I hope you are ready to see everything! I apologize that I have not shared any of these events with you yet but I will be this week! Hope you are looking forward to the many much needed updates that are coming up!

I have been dying to shoot at The Bell Tower on 34th and I finally got the chance to with not just a bride but with my sister! She was stunning and wonderful to work with! Jordan and Erin tied the knot on January 4th at the First United Methodist Church followed by their beautiful reception at the Marriott in Sugar Land Town Center! I am so happy to finally be able to share her bridals with y’all!
Y’all may remember this wonderful couple from a few years ago when this blog started, they helped me with a few mock shoots to get going, well now it is official! They are getting married this January 4, 2014! My little sister will be a wife! It has been a long road for them but I count them among the lucky ones because they have been together since her senior year of high school or so and they have worked a lot of things out that a lot of other couples do not get the chance to do until they marry. We wanted to do something completely different from their original shoot, and what better way to do that but go down to Kemah Boardwalk in November! As always Jordan and Erin were amazing to work with! Their chemistry and interaction with each other was so genuine and even the photographers in Kemah wanted to get in on the photographic opportunities! In roughly 3 weeks my sister will be married and I couldn’t be more happy for her and my soon to be brother in law! Congrats you two!
